StreamPay is deeply rooted in the original vision of AfrikaStream, a pioneering platform born in Kigali, Rwanda, that set out to make digital services accessible and affordable across Africa. AfrikaStream established key partnerships with MTN and built local hosting capabilities, laying the groundwork for more efficient streaming experiences and lower data costs. Building on this foundation, the founder of AfrikaStream, built StreamPay to address a persistent challenge across the continent—especially in Nigeria: too many people either can’t afford the data required to stream content or lack reliable internet connections altogether. This offering is combined with providing content producers a platform that offers transparency in how they are paid, offering a wallet and on-demand payments, as soon as content is consumed. 

Role Summary

Are you ready to be at the heart of a movement that's set to change the conversation on data and content in Africa? StreamPay is on a mission to unlock a new wave of prosperity for consumers and creators, and we’re looking for a Project and Business Operations Manager to join our rocket ship. This isn't just a job—it's your chance to be the swiss-army knife that helps us execute a massive launch in Nigeria and build the operational and financial engine that powers our growth. You'll be the one turning bold visions into reality, ensuring we hit our targets and make a tangible impact.

What You'll Do

• Be the Launch Conductor: You'll be a key player in our upcoming Nigeria launch on October 1st, acting as the central hub that keeps all project timelines on track. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our teams to nail everything from development and branding to market entry.
• Become a Data Ninja: Dive deep into the numbers and become our go-to expert on financial performance. You'll track our 11 key business metrics to ensure we not only meet but smash our financial goals, including our breakeven target of just 8 subscriptions per month.
• Fuel the Operational Engine: You'll provide critical support to our leadership team, helping to keep the lights on and the platform running smoothly. This includes assisting with the daily operations of our Network Operating Center (NOC) to ensure our platform is always up and running, even on older devices.
• Master the Startup Hustle: You’ll be a crucial connector between our Product, Marketing, and Support teams, ensuring seamless coordination and execution. Your ability to think on your feet and solve problems will be key to navigating the thrilling chaos of a hyper-growth startup.

What We’re Looking For

• A few years of experience proving you're a project management pro, a financial wizard, or a scrappy operations guru in a tech or startup environment.
• You are highly analytical, with an obsessive attention to detail and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are hungry to take on big challenges and contribute to a company with a powerful mission.
• An understanding of the digital media, FinTech, or telecommunications space is a massive plus.
